Wow, time has certainly flown since I last posted and it’s about time I gave you an update.
Some big news is Hands On PR has relocated from Kensal Rise to Kingston Upon Thames – I hasten to add this is still in London (Kensal Rise colleagues take note) but now prefixed with the word Greater. It’s also super handy to get into the big smoke – ok not as quick as jumping on the Bakerloo Line and arriving at Oxford Street 20 mins later – BUT it is only 25 minutes into Waterloo, so I’m not complaining. This has proved handy because for the last year I’ve been working with Launch – the real ideas™ communications agency which is based in Soho.
I wore a couple of hats of there but was involved in The Creative Shootout which is a radical and real time awards for the creative industry – think Bake Off meets Dragon’s Den meets the creative industry – done in a day, for charity. It really is as dynamic as it sounds. The awards took place in January, but they’ll be back next year so watch this space. Going with the charity theme I’m now working with a very exciting tech start up which is launching in October – for now my lips are sealed so sorry, I’m not revealing anymore.
Although I’m spending quite a bit of time ‘up town’ there’s lots of business opportunities on my Kingston doorstep too. I’m busy exploring them but in the meantime if you’re a Kingston business and want to chat about your communications needs then why not get in touch – email@example.com
Look forward to hearing from you soon!
