The SUN COMES OUT ON EMANUEL
In articles

Last night we were blown away watching a school’s production of Annie. The talented kids at Emanuel School have been rehearsing for months and boy was all their sweat, blood and tears worth it.

We could have easily been sat in a West End theatre such was the high standard of singing, dancing and acting. We were riveted to our seats from start to end. The cast, band and crew, which involved over one hundred students, reignited our love affair with Annie and all the colourful characters. Including the ghastly Miss Hannigan, the scheming Rooster and the wonderful Warbucks!

If these guys ever went on tour we would love to do their entertainment PR. The show would go down a storm with critics and kids!

Highlights included….

  • Super cool costumes especially the colour block dresses
  • The appearance of a real live black spaniel Sandy!
  • Annie’s hair – orange, curly and really really springy
  • Miss Hannigan swaying and sashaying across the stage
